Over the past five years we have been restoring and updating our accommodation while incorporating environmentally friendly measures. With particular attention to saving energy, hot water is provided using solar panels, our air conditioning uses the most up-to-date system which requires very little energy, and water consumption is reduced by the use of special aerating taps.

The Mediterranean garden which surrounds the residence is designed and planted with native shrubs and vegetation.

We are passionate about environmental education. The Centro Bue Marino (Seal Centre) helps our younger guests to learn more about, appreciate and respect our marine heritage.
Exhibitions and demonstrations are held on a regular basis in collaboration with experts from the parks department of the city of Rome.
